Why North Carolina?
North Carolina is where we’ve started a new chapter of our lives, and we’re excited to share this place with all of you. We chose this location because our venue has enough on-site accommodations for everyone to stay together, making the whole weekend feel like a shared getaway. Being able to spend real time with our favorite people — not just a few hours — is exactly why we fell in love with this spot.
Where is the venue?
Our wedding will take place at Brown Mountain Beach Resort in Lenoir, NC — a private, rustic-riverfront resort with on-site cabins and activities. It’s a secluded nature spot surrounded by the river and forest, so it really feels like a special weekend!
We’ll all be staying together on the property, which is part of what makes the weekend feel so cozy and fun.
what is the weekend timeline?
We’ve opted for an entire wedding weekend to celebrate! We ask guests to arrive on Thursday or Friday, depending on what works best for your travel plans. Events will begin on Thursday night and continue throughout the weekend, wrapping up on Sunday morning with a farewell brunch.
what are the on-site accomodations?
The venue offers cabins and yurts that will be booked directly through Brown Mountain Beach Resort for each guest or party grouping. Each cabin and yurt has its own private hot tub and is designed to be a cozy, relaxing getaway for your group. Guests can also order additional food and drinks directly to their cabin or yurt, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the full weekend on-site.
What is the closest airport to fly into?
We recommend flying into Charlotte Douglas International airport (CLT).
is transportation to the venue provided?
Transportation is not provided, as the venue is in a mountain area where shuttles are limited.
We recommend:
Renting a car (Turo, Enterprise, Hertz, etc.) or carpooling with other guests when possible.
Having your own vehicle will make it much easier to get to the venue, explore, and come and go throughout the weekend.
are kids allowed?
Our wedding weekend will be 18 and up only. We’re planning a relaxed, adults-only atmosphere where everyone can fully unwind, enjoy the events, and make the most of the time together. With everyone staying on-site and the schedule running from Thursday through Sunday, keeping the weekend 18+ helps create the experience we’re aiming for. We really appreciate everyone planning ahead so the celebration can be fun and comfortable for all.

Since the venue is located on the creek, we invite everyone to pack a swim suit.
